About Me

Hi, I’m Francois.

Through my coaching services, I support thoughtful, self-aware people who feel stuck between knowing that something needs to change and not yet feeling ready to take the next step.

Many of the people I hope to work with are quiet by nature. They think deeply, feel deeply and often carry far more inside them than they allow others to see. They may struggle with overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing or the fear that expressing themselves will lead to judgement, rejection or disappointment.

They are not lacking potential.

They have simply spent so long adapting, protecting themselves or meeting other people’s expectations that they have lost confidence in their own voice.

My role is to help them hear that voice again—and begin turning it into honest, manageable action.

Why I Chose This Path

My interest in coaching grew from my own experience of feeling disconnected from who I was and uncertain about how to move forward.

My life has included co-dependency, the fog of substance abuse, the loss of both my parents and periods when I was functioning on the outside but felt lost beneath the surface.

These experiences did not give me all the answers. They did, however, change the questions I was asking.

What do we do when the identity that helped us survive no longer fits?

How do we rebuild trust in ourselves after years of ignoring our own needs?

How do we begin expressing who we are when hiding has always felt safer?

At 44, I am still actively living many of these questions. I am learning how to make decisions with greater intention, express myself more honestly and build a life that feels aligned with my own values rather than external expectations.

Coaching became a natural extension of this journey—a way to offer others the kind of honest conversation, reflection, encouragement and accountability that can be difficult to find when we are trying to change alone.

My Coaching Approach

I offer a calm, grounded space where you can slow down and speak honestly about where you are.

You do not need to arrive with a perfect goal, a clear plan or the right words. We can begin with what feels confusing, uncomfortable or no longer sustainable.

Our conversations will focus on helping you understand what is keeping you stuck, identify what matters to you and choose practical next steps that feel realistic.

Depending on your needs, we may work with:

  • Fear of being seen or judged.
  • Low self-trust and persistent self-doubt.
  • Overthinking, procrastination and perfectionism.
  • People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries.
  • Personal transitions and rebuilding after loss or change.
  • Creative blocks and fear of sharing your work.
  • Accountability for goals or personal commitments.
  • Reconnecting with your values, needs and sense of direction.
  • Taking action before you feel completely confident.
  • Exploring spirituality without pressure or performance.

I will not tell you who you should become. Coaching is a collaborative process. I may offer questions, observations, structure and encouragement, but you remain the person making the decisions.

The aim is not to make you dependent on coaching. It is to help you develop a more honest and trusting relationship with yourself.

What You Can Expect From Me

You can expect warmth, patience and direct but compassionate conversation.

I understand that meaningful change is rarely a straight line. There may be moments of progress, resistance, uncertainty and retreat. We can make space for all of that without allowing every fearful thought to determine what happens next.

I will encourage you to be honest rather than impressive.

We will pay attention to both reflection and action. Insight can help us understand why we feel stuck, but change also requires us to do something differently—even if that something is small.

Our work may include identifying one practical action between sessions, examining what got in the way and adjusting the approach without turning every setback into evidence that you have failed.

This is not about forcing transformation.

It is about creating movement that you can realistically sustain.

A Different Understanding of Confidence

Many people believe they must become confident before they can speak up, set a boundary, share their work or make a meaningful change.

I see confidence differently.

Confidence often develops after we begin—not before. It grows through keeping small promises to ourselves, surviving uncomfortable moments and discovering that we can act without having complete certainty.

You do not need to eliminate every fear before taking your next step.

Sometimes the more useful question is:

What would I choose if fear were allowed to be present, but not allowed to make the entire decision?

That is the kind of question we can explore together.

Spirituality and Reflective Tools

Spirituality can be included in our work if it is meaningful to you, but it will never be forced into the coaching process.

When appropriate, Tarot, Lenormand, Oracle cards or Runes may be used as optional reflective tools. I use them to help open a conversation, explore different perspectives or bring attention to something you may not yet have considered.

They are not used to diagnose conditions, guarantee future outcomes or make important decisions on your behalf.

You do not need to follow a particular spiritual belief system to work with me. Your beliefs, boundaries and personal responsibility will always be respected.

We May Be a Good Fit If You Are…

  • Tired of repeating the same patterns but unsure how to change them.
  • Quiet, sensitive, introverted or prone to overthinking.
  • Going through a transition and trying to find your direction.
  • Ready to understand yourself more honestly.
  • Looking for accountability without harshness or pressure.
  • Afraid of being seen but equally tired of remaining hidden.
  • Interested in both practical action and deeper reflection.
  • Willing to take responsibility for your choices, even when change feels uncomfortable.

You do not need to be fearless or fully prepared.

You only need enough willingness to begin the conversation.

Before You Book

I do not present myself as someone who has mastered life or reached a final destination.

I am a coach and fellow traveller who understands how difficult it can be to rebuild your life, question old patterns and take action while you are still carrying doubt.

What I offer is not perfection or a guaranteed transformation. I offer presence, thoughtful questions, honest reflection, practical encouragement and a space where you do not have to pretend that you have everything figured out.

If that is the kind of support you are looking for, I would be honoured to walk alongside you for part of your journey.
